So, now I'm officially 22! However, it does not seemed as exciting as it should be. That's mostly because of the ruined plan. However, its not that important also la. As long as everyone in the family is okay then I'm happy already.
So I went to Ipoh, not long ago and the food were AWESOME. I seldom give this high praises for food but yea, Ipoh food is just too great and it deserve to be praised!
Erm, there's nothing much for me to say except for some photos.

This was from old town. The shop opposite the very famous Nam Heong. Basically chee cheong fun is like the must if you happen to be in Ipoh. Mom once told me that the secret in producing such gorgeous texture is because of the source of the water. |
Hor fun with shredded chicken. From what I've remembered, the prawns shouldn't exist in the bowl, but things might have changed. Didn't have much of these though. But friends said it was awesome! |
Prawn noodles. This was slightly different from what we used to have in KL. Taste better of course! Maybe its because of the water? Well, this am not sure. |
Am not really sure whats this called but this was real good! According to friend, the outside was so crispy and nothing in KL could ever beat this! |
Steamed egg. LEMME TELL YOU!!!! You must try this! Made of century egg, salted egg and ordinary egg. |
Not sure what's this called but inside there are salted egg yolk and also yam. Deep fried, with a scent of yam and a pinch of saltiness. Not too sweet, not too oily. Decent dessert. |
Dim sum. Mostly pork and prawns. HEAVEN. |
Part of the dim sum but this glutinous rice was so good! The scent of chicken had gone into the rice, causing the rice to have such good smell! Also with their special sauce being mixed into the rice causing it to be brownish. It's a must order if you ever happen to go to Ipoh for dim sum. |
Not sure how it taste, however it looks good. Therefore, worth some time and a photo. |
